This is simply Filipino home style dish as the name giniling or torta. This has ground pork is stewed in tomato sauce.
Ingredients:
500g ground pork
1 pack del monte tomato sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium sized diced red onion
1 cup diced potato
½ cup diced carrots
½ cup fresh/frozen green peas
½ cup red or yellow bell pepper, diced
½ tsp ground pepper
½ cup calamansi juice
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp fish sauce
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp healthy cooking oil, veg/grapeseed/canola/corn oil or any available oil.

3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp fish sauce
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp healthy cooking oil, veg/grapeseed/canola/corn oil or any available oil.
Preparation:
1. In a cast iron saute pan, heat over medium heat around 2 tbsp of oil. Saute onions and garlic until translucent and fragrant. Then add the bay leave in advance to enhance the flavor.
2. Add ground pork, fish sauce and ground pepper and cook until lightly brown.
3. Toss in the carrots, potatoes and bell pepper in the pan one at a time and stir for a few minutes.
4. Then add the peas and still sauteing with the rest of the ingredients for 2 minutes.
5. Pour the tomato sauce, calamansi juice, soy sauce, salt, sugar and season with a dash of msg. Cook and simmer until vegetables are soft, leaving about small amount of sauce.
6. Transfer in serving dish and serve with steaming white rice.
